Ingredients

1 tablespoon = 15 ml; 1 teaspoon = 5 ml. A bowl of rice is a serving measure, not a standardized cup.

How to cook

  1. Whisk the eggs with water and strain. Finely chop the salted shrimp and stir it in.
  2. Brush a small heatproof bowl with sesame oil, then add the egg mixture and finely chopped carrot.
  3. Place in a steaming pot, cover and steam over medium-low heat for 12–15 minutes.
  4. Once the center is fully set, sprinkle on green onion and let it stand covered for 1 minute.

Ingredients and allergies

Check product labels: soy sauce can contain wheat, kimchi and fish cakes can contain seafood, and miso or tofu contains soy. Ingredient swaps do not automatically make a dish gluten-free, vegetarian or allergy-safe.
