7-day Korean meal plan for beginners

Seven beginner-friendly Korean meals, one combined shopping checklist, and twenty recipes matched to the ingredients in your kitchen.

One recipe per day, not a complete daily diet. Quantities scale the original recipes to your chosen number of people. Rice, main dishes and side dishes can be combined to suit your meal. No automatic cooking-time adjustment.

Buy once, use across several dishes

Eggs, carrots, green onions and sesame oil appear repeatedly. Check the combined list before buying; specialty ingredients link to local shopping searches.

Reusing ingredients means buying them for several dishes, not keeping cooked food all week. Follow package storage instructions; cook or freeze perishables promptly.
