How to use this guide

For a cooked soup or egg dish, try small additions of regular soy sauce and taste at the end. Mushroom broth can provide a different savory background without reproducing fish sauce.

What changes and what to check

This is not a kimchi fermentation substitution formula. The linked egg recipe contains salted shrimp: changing fish sauce alone does not make a recipe vegetarian or seafood-free.
